Shayna Harvey

Instructor

Shayna Lear Harvey, a native of Philadelphia, brings more than 25 years of experience to the financial services industry where she has led clients to accomplish their goals as a financial advisor, advisory coach, district manager, franchisee, wealth manager and an independent registered investments advisor. In Shayna’s role as a partner and president of wealth management at JECohen, a leading New Orleans-based registered national wealth and investment management firm, she is responsible for working alongside a team of dedicated financial advisors positioned to work with clients to achieve their financial goals. Shayna obtained her Certified Financial Planner™ designation in 2003, her Chartered Financial Consultant designation in 2003, and her Series 66 license in 2000. Prior to joining JECohen, Shayna served as the managing director of The Insight Advisory Group, a Philadelphia-based firm she founded in 2015, where she was responsible for investment management, financial planning, client services and the vision for the company. Shayna’s passion for helping individuals in pursuit of their financial goals isn’t just limited to her office hours – she shares her knowledge through her podcast Seeking First, as well as articles written for various publications and her book Money On Purpose: Finding a Faith-Filled Balance (2012).

Colin Nass

Instructor

Colin Nass is Director of Financial Planning with over 30 years of experience. He brings a broad range of financial planning and investment experience to MMBB. Prior to joining MMBB, he worked for Lenox Advisors providing financial planning to the firm’s high net worth clients. Colin has also worked for Deutsche Bank AG as a Director of Financial Sales and with Merrill Lynch in New York and Hong Kong. While working for Merrill Lynch, he was FINRA registered, passing the Series 3, 7, 8, and 63 exams. He has also passed the New York State Life and Health Insurance exam. Colin earned his B.S. in Optics from the University of Rochester and Master of International Management degree from Baylor University in Texas. He earned his CFP® in 2005 and later earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional® and the Accredited Estate Planner® designations.

Grace Pomroy

Grace Duddy Pomroy is the Director of the Stewardship Leaders Program at Luther Seminary. She’s a lay, millennial stewardship leader, speaker, and financial educator based in Allyn, WA. She is the co-author of the stewardship book, Embracing Stewardship: How to Put Stewardship at the Heart of Your Congregation’s Life, as well as author of the free 2013 ELCA stewardship resource, “Stewards of God’s Love.” Her latest book, Funding Forward: A Pathway to More Sustainable Models for Ministry, was just released September 2024. Grace is also a consultant with Relèven, a charitable organization that lovingly preserves, restores, and repurposes under-utilized churches into community hubs and affordable housing.
