With more than 20 years of managing and supporting IT systems and infrastructures—from large scale multi-facility academic medical centers to nonprofit, grassroots organizations—Saeed Richardson, MDiv, AM, is well-suited to his role as Chief Technology & Information Security Officer with the American Baptist Home Mission Societies.
A renaissance man of sorts, Richardson is an ordained clergyperson, pastor of 22 years, a former correctional facility chaplain, community organizer and policy advocate, and has worked as a lobbyist, fighting for police reform, racism, and opportunities for returning citizens. He is also a self-described Information Technology junkie and software developer. You can find him on social media @gorevtech.
Rev. Richardson earned the Master of Arts in Social Service Administration and Master of Divinity, both at the University of Chicago.
